Hydrophobic (water-resistant) varnish for concrete plasters

Our hydrophobic coatings are an essential part of concrete screed maintenance, especially in areas exposed to high humidity. Glossy (0.25 L) and matte (1 L) hydrophobic coatings offer the following benefits:

• Water resistance: This coating forms an effective barrier against water penetration into the concrete plaster, which is crucial for maintaining the surface's durability.
• Long-term protection: Protects the concrete plaster from water, moisture, and dirt, thereby extending its lifespan.
• Easy application: The application is simple and quick.
• Indoor and outdoor use: This coating is suitable for both indoor and outdoor areas.
• Drying time 1–3 hours: During the short drying time, your surface will be protected.
• Coating consumption: Approximately 0.1 liters per 1 m² of concrete screed.

We recommend applying the hydrophobic coating after the classic coating has been applied to the concrete plaster – as the final layer in the shower area or in places where the concrete screed comes into contact with a lot of water.
