Rubber Paint: Application and Key Characteristics

Introduction

The paint market offers many products for different surfaces and purposes. Among interior paints, acrylic and latex paints are popular due to their long-lasting durability and resistance to washing. Silicone paints are chosen for insulated facades to increase surface breathability. For protecting metal surfaces from moisture and rust, anti-corrosion paints are used. Wooden surfaces are best painted with acrylic varnishes, which dry quickly and have no strong odor, making them widely used in interiors.

Universal Rubber Paint

For coating various types of surfaces, Polysan specialists have developed a universal rubber paint that addresses a range of tasks in finishing work. Universal rubber paint Rubber Paint Farbex is a unique, water-dilutable product that gets its name from the highly elastic layer it forms on the painted surface. Thanks to its unique properties, rubber paint is a universal solution for coating house facades, roofs, plinths, gutters, brick and stone walls, columns, fences, residential rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, sports complexes, and commercial halls.

Key Characteristics of Universal Rubber Paint:

  • High elasticity allows for shape and size changes without damage, important for surfaces subject to deformation, such as temperature changes.
  • Matte finish effectively hides micro-cracks.
  • High adhesion to mineral, wooden, and metal substrates.
  • Resistance to water, intensive washing, UV radiation, and atmospheric influences.
  • With proper surface preparation and application, it retains protective and decorative properties for at least 10 years.

Surfaces Suitable for Applying Rubber Paint:

  • Shingles, tiles, ondulin
  • Galvanized steel, aluminum, trapezoidal sheet
